Blackstenius' Strike Sends Arsenal into Semi-Finals
Arsenal secured their place in the semi-finals of the Continental Cup with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Chelsea on Sunday.
The match was evenly contested throughout normal time, with both teams creating chances but failing to find the breakthrough.
However, Arsenal striker Stina Blackstenius proved to be the match-winner in extra time, heading home a cross from Katie McCabe in the 114th minute.
The goal was Blackstenius' first for Arsenal since joining the club in the summer, and it sent the Gunners into the last four of the competition.
Arsenal will now face Manchester City in the semi-finals, while Chelsea will be hoping to bounce back when they host Leicester City in the FA Cup on Sunday.
